The Lastick family entered the furniture business in 1973 when Jerry Lastick and his parents, Eli and Sonia Lastick, opened a shop at 310 E. High St., the former Eagles building. A year later, the family purchased the Block Furniture building at 269 E. High St., their current location. Marsha Lastick-Petnick joined the family business in 1979.

Lastick's showcase gallery status gives them preferred pricing, along with shipping and ordering privileges that allow the shop to sell the newest looks at the lowest prices in the area, bar none.
